Hello, ive just downloaded the Mac version, but when I try to open it it won't let me. I've tried unzipping it through archive and another application pops up called 'skillwarz 2'. it won't let me open that either. I am using Mac OS Catalina

everytime i relogin to the game my levels are reset. this has happened to me 3 nights in a row. i keep the things i unlock but have to grind back up to my previous level to be able to unlock new weapons. plz fix
I play this game now since a long time (I cant tell since when) and yesterday I showed this game my friend. He told me some stuff to improove your game and I think maybe somthing will get into the game. First he said, that he would love if you could lean around edges like in Rainbow Six Siege (He plays it a lot). Second I told him that I play this for long time now and that there was a double jump, so that you could play that game like a JetPack Shooter. He said that this is a great idea (I think so too). Maybe you could add the DoubleJump like it was before with Boots on the ground so that it is normally boots on the ground and you can adjust that you can use doublejump. And third something I would like, would be a crosshair without perk. Its just my opinion and the crosshair is not so important, but it would be cool. Anyway it was the same everybody think like more weapons and more maps and stuff but I know you are working on it. I personally think you do a great job with this game (But please put doublejump back in the game :D) and I hope you continue programming on it.
Hi, leaning in game where half of players run around with 200+ ping is not good idea. And leaning is for games with more "tactical" style. SW is more "run and gun", then move slowly from corner to corner.
Double jump was removed because it was breaking gameplay (map movement logic) and there was many many many complaints from players. When we will have more players, then maybe i will add it back as an option.
If i will add crosshair, then i will have to increase hip fire inaccuracy (like it is done in most shooter games). Shooting from hip will give you much worse accuracy, then when aim down the sights. So whats the point from crosshair?
As i usually answer on question about crooshair... it fits games like CS, where you can't aim down the sights (from all weapons). If i will add crosshair, then only in "Normal" mode. But at this moment it's not planed.

You need tutorials only at very beginning, to learn how to use unity engine/programming language and you already can find thousands of tutorials about it. on youtube.

Every time I open the game, the loading screen will show up and I will be able to see the Unity symbol, then it will crash and go right back to my home screen. It has been running relatively smoothly for the past couple days. I am on Mac.
What servers do u guys use cuz I cant find anyone to play with. I love this game and wish to play more online so please answer! BTW I've been playing for 2 years!

It depends from your game style. If you play aggressively then L96A1. For sniping from far distance will be better M107. And M110 is somewhere in between.
Please add battle royale (if possible) that still keeps with the style of the game. I watched your old youtube videos and saw some vehicles and AI which you could implement into the later versions of skillwarz.
I am absolutely in love with this movement, Idk if you made it yourself, but it is very fun to strafe hop and slide around. there aren't many call of duty esque games out there with this fast of movement. I have only played the game for about an hour so the first impressions are good, flashbangs might be a little op though. my only complaint so far is the maps, although they are decently well designed for the amount of movement you have, they don't look good. however im fairly certain you are working on that. keep up the good work
When game is in development, then "more" simply slows down development. Every time you change something in weapon mechanics, you will have to fix/adjust every singe weapon. Every time you will make some change in movement, you may have to make adjustments on most maps. On prototype maps it can be done much easier.
Adding weapons/attachments at this moment is simply waste of time, since i plan to change model of arms and hire someone who will make good animations for weapons. There is no difference in gameplay between prototype and non-prototype maps. Prototype maps are easier/much faster to make and performance on these maps is much better. Many players play this game on "calculators" and i am not joking here.
And if you are not familiar with level design, then prototyping is part of map design. You don't create detailed maps from very beginning. At first you create map blockout and you test gameplay.
I am not a game designer, and I know that you have more experience, however, if you want this game's community to grow like it should you need to listen to people. Let's say someone were to come from a game like Call of Duty, and they decide to play this. In the Call of Duty games, the maps are beautiful, filled with beautiful architecture and balance. While your prototype maps compensate for their simpleness (for now), in the future more non-prototype maps would be necessary to populate the servers (as in prototype maps don't look as good as the Arena 1 [Construction Site] map and without increasing the visual quality of maps may reduce people's interest). Also, while attachments aren't always that necessary, the addition of an advanced attachment system is used in a large variety of FPS games (including free ones) that greatly surpass the quality of your game. Character customisation allows for people to funnily represent themselves. I also know that in mapping you start of with a prototype, but I haven't seen any of the prototype maps changed to be non-prototype (probably because I've started losing interest and I've been playing other games).
You say "listen to people". I am listening and i take notes. Many features are in game only because of suggestions. But every single player has own opinion about games and what makes you think that some random guys opinion is more valuable then mine?
I can't do multiple things at the same time. I am working alone and i have to set priorities. Detailed maps are not priority. More weapons/attachments are not priority. One day will be, but not now.
I had fun noscoping others lol This game has a lot of potential in it, what I want is to add more gamemodes so we don't have to play TDM over and over again, and a matchmaking/ranking system. However, I find it hard to connect to some servers.
1) we don't have ranking? 2) only TDM? we have also DM, GG, TGG. If nobody is playing these modes, then create room. 3) can you explain "hard to connect to some servers"?

You must close game by pressing "Quit Game" button.

LOL Im on Mac and downloaded the Linux file and that worked but the Mac file doesn't,LOL. AMAZING GAME BTW.

On some maps you can find red boxes. From them you can get one of three things - drone, health injection (200 hp), or sentry gun.

It's not "crash" when game closes. It can happen when game cant connect to database. Simply wait 10 min and try again.

Game creates folders after first launch. There MUST be folder "Skillwarz" in Documents.

Players are only in EU region. If you want to play with friends (with low ping), then choose server which is closest to you.

I know you're a solo indie developer, but I believe you need to:
Add more guns
Add more attachments; improve gun customization
Add character customization
Add more non-prototype maps
Overall the game is good, it just needs some time to improve.

I've read some of the replies to ideas that could've been really good and you've simply rejected those ideas.
Also, I've noticed in the training mode that there are weapon spawns, jump pads and portals. Maybe you could add them to some more maps.
